I guess I'm on the digital bandwagon now. As the price of (decent) processing has gone through the roof, I've been looking at 'going digital' for a while now. Or at least setting my toe in the water. I'd looked at it before - most notably with my M8 but, well, that didn't work out. I'm a creature of habit. I like rangefinders. And I like my lenses - all collected over nearly 15 years of photography; and all of it film - the original 'full frame RAW'. Which means I have a smattering of wide-angles, a massive clump around the 50mm mark, and then one or two telephotos lying around. Which, when attached to the M8's 1.33x sensor, made a whole lo

So, on Sunday morning last week, I got a phone-call. "We're leaving." "Where to?" "Brazil." "For how long?" "Two days." "When are we leaving?" "Tonight." So, I spent 48 hours in Sao Paulo - a travel:ground ratio of 1:2. But I loved it. Brazil has such an energy and is full of such friendly, dynamic welcoming people that I wish I had longer. I didn't take my camera out of my bag much, severely cramping my usual style of shooting - I didn't want to become another statistic for violent crime. Anyway, I shot five photos.
